Estate Planning Resources for Financial Professionals
The Estate Planning Team at Lambros Law Office LLC • Providence & Cranston
At Lambros Law Office LLC, we work closely with other professional advisors, including Certified Financial Planner™ Practitioners, investment advisors, financial consultants, insurance professionals, Certified Public Accountants, and tax advisors as part of the estate planning team. We believe that the team approach provides our mutual clients with the most comprehensive and effective estate plan, which is why we’ve compiled a list of estate planning resources we have available for our mutual clients.
Our Approach to Working with Your Clients
We schedule a 15 minute complimentary telephone or video call with your clients to determine your client’s planning needs and goals. If we believe that we can help your client, we will schedule an Estate Planning Meeting.
Estate Planning Meeting
Prior to the scheduled Estate Planning Meeting, we will send your client a questionnaire to complete. We simply ask that your client return the completed questionnaire at least three days prior to the Meeting. We will also send your client a Meeting Agenda in advance. At the Meeting your client will learn about our firm and our firm’s philosophies and core values. We also will learn about your client and your client’s goals. If we both agree that we will be a good fit for one another, we will then discuss estate planning and our different levels of planning. If we have enough information to proceed, your client will select the level of planning that is best for your client’s family.
Design of the Plan
At the end of the Estate Planning Meeting, if your client decides to proceed, we will discuss the design of the estate plan based on the level of planning selected by your client.
Once the design is finalized, we will begin drafting your client’s customized and personalized estate plan. This typically takes approximately two weeks. The client will then have the opportunity to review the drafts and ask any questions that they may have..
Once thee drafts are finalized, we will schedule a Signing Ceremony to execute the estate plan documents.
Once documents are signed, we move onto the next stage – the Funding Phase, or more appropriately described, the Alignment Phase. We will work with you and your client to make sure that their assets are properly aligned with their newly created estate planning documents.
Once asset alignment and trust funding is complete, we will schedule another meeting to deliver your client’s estate planning binder.
Client Care Program
Your client will be offered an invitation to our Legacy Client Care Program. This is our exclusive membership program that provides ongoing, individualized, and comprehensive services that your client deserves.
Every professional organization has different processes, and different methods for interacting with clients. We are happy to work within your processes, or blend our respective methodologies. Our primary goal is to serve the needs of clients and we welcome the opportunity to serve them within the team environment.
